Crowies Paints was established in 1996 and operates a chain of 30 paint specialist stores in SA, Vic, Qld and NSW distributing the Architectural, Automotive, Industrial and Timber paint brands among others. We hold customer service in high regard and expect all of our staff to go the extra mile to provide the best service in the industry. We are seeking a fulltime Sales Assistant for our Shepparton Store.
About the role
Due to our continued expansion, we require a bright ambitious sales professional who is seeking a career in the paint/ coatings industry and to join our progressive and successful team. Whilst industry experience is desirable, it is not essential. To succeed with your application you must be accurate, flexible, reliable, and possess the right attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for assisting the Store manager in all duties associated with the operation of an Architectural, Automotive and Industrial paint store. We would like the successful applicant to be able to assume full responsibility for the day to day operation of the store in the absence of a senior staff member, after training is completed.
The successful applicant will be flexible, self-motivated, have high ideals of customer service and want to join a happy, progressive and successful team. Whilst not essential, an understanding and technical knowledge of architectural paint systems would be considered an advantage. This is a physically demanding role so the successful applicant will need to be physically fit.
Skills & Experience
Industry experience will be preferred but not essential. The position involves assisting with all duties associated with the operation of the store. The successful applicant must have a bright and lively personality, be self-motivated, possess a very strong customer service focus, be physically fit and possess a valid drivers license. We are looking for someone who would like a long term career, full training will be provided. This is a demanding role and as such we are seeking a high calibre applicant for the role.
