We're seeking a strategic and experienced
Program Manager
to oversee large-scale water network and treatment plant construction and upgrade projects. This is a rare opportunity to influence delivery strategies, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute to future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution, resource allocation, and asset optimisation.
  • Collaborate across design, site, safety, environmental, and commercial teams.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with The Downer Standard, financial targets, and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing tenders, procurement, and subcontractors.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex capital projects within a partner delivery model.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with forecasting and reporting capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Committed to Zero Harm and safety-first decision making.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
