The Business Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders, to gather and analyse business requirements for allocated projects and system improvements. As part of this engagement, it is expected that the Business Analyst will provide updates on the delivery status of requirements at a project and organisational level on a regular basis.

Description

  • Apply a structured business analysis approach and methodology for the collection, documentation and analysis of internal technical and business processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support agile delivery.
  • Assist in the creation of UAT test scripts, coordinate testing activities, and support business users during testing phases.
  • Work alongside project teams to track progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of requirements within the release cycle
  • Work with the business to identify, collect, and validate master data required for system enhancements and new implementations, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business processes.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and risks to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Identify interconnections with existing processes and systems
  • Facilitate or support facilitation with technical and non-technical stakeholders across operational business areas and Information Technology groups

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Business Analyst role or a role requiring expert business process analysis and improvement skills, preferably within an Agile project structure
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead meetings and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and elicit outcomes for successful business process design and procedures
  • Proven ability in the elicitation of business issues, business rules and information requirements using business process mapping
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills
