Your Role: Painter – Enhancing Our Attraction

As a Painter, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the appearance of our buildings, infrastructure, and attractions with a high standard of painting and finishing. You will also be a valuable member of our wider maintenance team, assisting with other tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Painting & Preparation: Prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply coats to buildings, fences, signage, and other structures to ensure a professional and durable finish.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to identify areas in need of a fresh coat or touch-up, ensuring the park maintains its world-class presentation.

• Maintenance Support: Assist the broader maintenance team with general upkeep, repairs, and other tasks as needed.

• Safety & Equipment: Adhere to all safety protocols and correctly use and maintain painting and maintenance equipment.

The Ideal Candidate: Your Skills & Qualities

We are seeking a reliable and practical individual with a great work ethic who takes pride in a job well done. Please note, a trade qualification is not required for this role.

• Painting Experience: Proven experience in painting, surface preparation, and using various painting tools.

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work and a professional finish.

• Problem-Solver: The ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and take initiative.

• Physical Capability: The fitness and willingness to perform manual labour and work outdoors in a tropical climate.

• Team Player: The ability to work collaboratively and assist on a variety of tasks.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Award: Amusement, Events and Recreation Award – Grade 4 – Base $28.12 per hour.
