Role
As Food & Beverage Team Leader
you will support the team with the smooth and efficient day to day operation of the outlets. Your role will include:
- Organize the daily operations of the Food & Beverage team
- Ensure 5-star service quality across all F&B areas including our Restaurant, Conference and Events, In-Room Dining, and Bar
- Lead by example, motivate, and coordinate the Food & Beverage team to exceed guest expectations
- Communicate feedback and key information to the Food & Beverage leadership team
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests
- Lead by example and conduct team training to align with premium brand and service standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support with menu implementation and delivery
- Monitor rosters and staffing schedules to meet operation requirements
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage, preferably within a premium hotel environment
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
- Enthusiasm for high-quality food and beverage experiences
- Strong communication skills with a focus on people and teamwork
- Emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Staff rostering and scheduling experience
- Excellent leadership and team working skills
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and resolve guest complaints
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations food handling best practices
- Proven ability to lead highly motivated and engaged teams
- Understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory and ordering
- A hands-on leader who sets the example, motivates the team, and fosters excitement in the workplace
- A strong sense of ownership and a desire to grow within the company
- Flexibility to work various shifts across different meal periods, weekends, and public holidays
- Successful candidates will need to produce an Australian National police clearance upon offer.
- A valid RSA in SA (RP Badge is a bonus)
- WSET qualification is an asset
