About the role
The successful applicant will be responsible for networking and working collaboratively with various agencies and organisations to identify, develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives that address the myriad of issues impacting young people within our municipality.
About you
You will be a self-motivated professional, who shows initiative, can problem solve and has good time management skills.
For your application to be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar position, and it is desirable that you have tertiary qualifications in the field of Social Science or Youth Services. You will also have experience in coordinating and facilitating programs and projects.
In addition to this, you will have well developed communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
This role will require intrastate travel in a Council provided vehicle. Applicants must hold a current Tasmanian Drivers Licence.
Our organisation is committed to child safety. As part of this role you will be working with children and will be required to hold a Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance. You will also be required to provide a current National Police Check showing no serious offences. The successful applicant will also be screened via reference checks (as we see fit) to ensure that we are recruiting the right people to meet our commitment to child safety.
