A leading service provider is seeking a proactive and experienced HSEQ Coordinator to support operations across remote sites. This role plays a key part in driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety-first culture across diverse teams and locations. This is a remote-based position with regular travel to site locations required.

Your new role

  • Implement and maintain HSEQ programs that align with organisational and client standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, maintain site-specific risk registers, and support the development of tailored safety plans and procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions and learnings are shared across sites.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through regular engagement, coaching, and mentoring of site personnel.
  • Prepare and present HSEQ performance reports, monitor KPIs, and ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards.
  • Act as a key contact for clients and community stakeholders on HSEQ matters, fostering strong relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and contribute to audit processes, identifying and resolving non-conformances.
  • Deliver HSEQ training and provide ongoing support to operational teams to build capability and awareness.

What you'll need to succeed - Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, ideally within remote or resource sector environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of HSEQ legislation and best practices.
  • Confident in conducting investigations (e.g., ICAM methodology).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSEQ reporting systems.
