Your New Role
An exciting opportunity exists for Social Workers (HP3) to join the Social Work Department at Logan & Beaudesert Health Services. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred Social Work services across inpatient and outpatient settings, working as part of an interprofessional team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, carers, and families.
- Provide detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and discharge planning.
- Manage an allocated caseload, maintaining accurate documentation and service statistics.
- Contribute to the supervision of students, allied health assistants, and less experienced staff.
- Participate in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Social Worker who is committed to evidence-based practice and collaborative care. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, professional integrity, and a dedication to continuous learning.
- Proven ability to provide effective Social Work assessment and management in acute and community settings.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills to work within an interprofessional team.
- Commitment to professional development and active engagement in learning opportunities.
- Ability to contribute to service improvement initiatives, research projects, and student education.
