About the Role
The advertised role sits primarily in the Geriatric Assessment & Planning Unit (GAPU), a newly established are within the acute setting. Flexibility to work in other clinical areas may be required when demand exceeds resources.
- Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multi-disciplinary context.
- Clinical education, supervision of observational students and allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
- Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
