Job Description

Pharmaceutical Advisers contribute to the administration of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and related programs. They play a key role in providing professional advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders including doctors, pharmacists, customers and staff.

Pharmaceutical Advisers are required to make decisions consistent with defined legislative and policy parameters, with decision making dependent on professional judgement and consideration of wider agency implications. They support achievement of performance outcomes for the effective administration and delivery of the PBS and related programs.
