As part of Central Queensland Health's Allied Health Services, you'll lead and deliver advanced occupational therapy across acute, sub-acute, and community settings. This senior role offers the scope to make real change, from leading service improvement and mentoring staff to contributing to research and quality initiatives that enhance care for Central Queenslanders.

You'll work across a range of clinical areas, with a primary focus on acute assessment and inpatient planning, and further scope (as required) into general medicine, surgical, orthopaedic, and out-of-hospital care, ensuring that every patient receives person-centred, evidence-based support.

Our Occupational Therapy team is part of a strong, multidisciplinary Allied Health service supporting patients across Rockhampton, the Capricorn Coast, and surrounding communities. We deliver care across the continuum, from acute and sub-acute to community and outpatient services, with a shared focus on helping people live well and participate fully in daily life.

About the role:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy across acute, sub-acute, and community settings.
  • Provide senior clinical leadership, advice, and supervision to staff and students.

  • Manage complex caseloads with autonomy and professional accountability.

About you:

  • You hold a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $ $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
