Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertake assessments for the purpose of providing CLC's and CSC's as allocated by the Business Manager.
- Peer review, sign and certify CLC's and CSC's in a timely manner as requested by the Business Manager.
- Provide technical support to the Business Manager and Inspectors as required.
- Comply with the requirements of the relevant Work Health and Safety legislation and the associated regulations, codes of practice, policies and procedures.
- Any other reasonable duties, as requested, to help fulfil our vision, drive our mission and abide by our organisational values.
Required Qualifications:
Workers must have or be willing to obtain the following:
- Qualifications and Accreditation as a Building Surveyor - limited or unlimited however unlimited is preferred
- White Card
Previous Experience:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position.
Specific Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Building Acts and Regulations.
- Highly organised with strong planning abilities.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and strength.
- Proficient time management skills.
- Computer skills for proprietary software, record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to follow procedures and protocols while identifying and addressing gaps in processes and areas of risk.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive work culture.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Adaptability and flexibility in handling various tasks and situations.
- Safety awareness and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
