What you'll do

As the Head of Product, you are here to improve product adoption, user satisfaction, and the quality of releases across our core product suite (Desktop, Mobile & Web). You'll lead the planning, execution, and ongoing optimisation of our software, whilst shaping how we best leverage AI within our legal technology. Collaborating closely with design, development, quality engineering, and customer-facing teams, you'll ensure our products deliver genuine value and impact for users - the work you do will help define and deliver features that advance our mission to "help lawyers who help people."

To make this happen, you will:

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback, market trends, and usage analytics.
  • Analyse and report on feature usage and performance metrics to guide product improvements.
  • Translate product insights into actionable requirements for the development team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide coaching, clear direction, and growth opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential and deliver their best work.
  • Coordinate and oversee product release activities to ensure smooth, timely, and reliable deployments in collaboration with the development, Quality Engineering, and operations teams.
  • Manage the Beta testing program (known as LEAP First) to gather feedback, track issues, and evaluate feature readiness for general release.
  • Oversee the Escalations team, ensuring critical client issues are triaged, prioritised, and resolved in alignment with product goals and release cycles.
  • Oversee product documentation, release notes, and Help Centre content, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support marketing and customer success teams with product knowledge and communication.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Global Chief Product Officer and regional Product Managers to ensure alignment of goals, priorities, and strategic direction across the organisation.
  • Continuously monitor competitor products and emerging market trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the legal technology landscape.

Consider it a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in legal practice, conveyancing, or the legal technology sector.
  • Familiarity with Practice Management Software or workflow tools used by legal professionals.
  • Experience working with AI technologies, AI-driven features, machine learning models, or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Exposure to UX design, business analysis, or software engineering.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience as a manager in a software or SaaS company; experience in Product Management preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience presenting product insights based on statistical data.
  • Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud-based software delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage product documentation or online knowledge bases.
  • Experience working within agile development environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Jira Plans, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
