Northern Health are seeking applications from a driven and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Therapy Service at Northern Health.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health, working within the Community Rehabilitation team. The service is a community-based program which involves the provision of assessment and rehabilitation for patients with short term rehab based goals. The caseload includes a neurological cohort among others. The clients receive therapy centre based or home based depending on the client's goals. This position will primarily be based in Bundoora, travel may be required to other sites.
The successful Occupational Therapist will possess knowledge of, or demonstrate a strong interest in the area of neurological rehabilitation. The role works closely with the broader multidisciplinary team to provide evidence based occupational therapy practice and supports clients to achieve short term value driven goals.
This position is an ongoing full time position with a monthly Accrued Day Off.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience or a keen interest in providing short term rehabilitation to a neurological caseload
- Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- An commitment toward life-long learning
