Quinn Allan are proud to be partnering with a leading, fast-paced ASX listed organisation seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant for an initial 3-month contract.

This role will suit a technically strong accountant with a background in audit and financial reporting who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll play a critical part in ensuring statutory reporting requirements are met, supporting the finance team during a busy reporting period.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements, and notes to the accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of board papers and audit committee materials.
  • Manage audit and compliance-related documentation and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide technical accounting advice on complex transactions and reporting matters.
  • Support the finance team in meeting strict reporting deadlines.

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background.
  • Previous experience in financial reporting within a large corporate or audit environment (Big 4 / mid-tier background highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
