About the role

We're looking for a motivated Senior Paralegal to join our busy and dynamic family law team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal looking to progress their career and contribute to a high-performing team.

Please note: this role it is not suitable for law students or law graduates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the administration department, including supervising a Junior Paralegal who will assist with administration tasks
  • Assisting solicitors with the day-to-day management of files
  • Building strong rapport with clients and delivering professional service
  • Managing communications including calls and correspondence with clients and other third parties
  • Maintaining files, deadlines and key dates
  • Preparing briefs to Counsel
  • Organising and managing disclosure documents
  • Assisting with monthly invoicing

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Prior experience at a law firm (family law experience preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Remuneration
