The details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $74,847 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 6)
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Narangba
As a Crew Leader working within the Roads and Drains team, you will operate as part of a small team (usually a team of two) to complete assigned maintenance tasks on Council's civil infrastructure assets. You will:
- Identify necessary resources & materials required
- Use technology & software to manage work orders and administrative tasks
- Remove any debris
- Fix and replace signs
- Repair road defects
- Fix pathway, kerb and channel issues
- Address traffic island defects
This position is internally titled "Crew Leader - Roads"
We're looking for
- Experience in civil infrastructure maintenance
- Strong safety mindset
- Proficiency with relevant technology
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current truck licence (MR or above)
- Construction Induction Card (or willing to obtain)
- Traffic Management Implementation licence and a high risk work dogging (HRW DG) licence (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
Progression in remuneration (up to Level 8 - $79,143 inc. allowances + super) is available for this position upon meeting performance and training requirements outlined in a structured crew leader framework including obtaining a Cert III in Civil Construction
