Transport Clerk – Kemps Creek, NSW

The Opportunity

This is a newly created opportunity for a Transport Clerk to join our Kemps Creek facility as part of a new customer we are onboarding into our fully automated facility.

The Transport Clerk will coordinate and organise the transport of customer produces to alternate locations within the agreed contract, manage all the administrative aspects of the business to support both the Senior Manager and Operations Manager in meeting both their customer and regulatory requirements of the business.

As the Transport Clerk, you will:

  • Successfully coordinate deliveries both inbound and outbound to warehouse to maintain business goals.

  • Providing leading edge logistics solutions is fostered with customer through implementing the planning and control procedures and processes for maximum transport coordination.

  • Adhere to stock and transport compliance requirements are continually reviewed and reported to ensure both the customer and Toll's expectations are met.

  • Manage safety for self and others is prioritized in all your functions and outcomes.

  • Manage all administrative functions of the business are actioned in appropriate timeframes.

  • Develop reports in accordance with the required specifications and timeframes.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Intermediate computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Proved experience in logistics/supply chain management.

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of chain of responsibility and related transport legislation.

  • 3-5 years in transport administrative function.

  • Proven experience in data analysis and report development.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary forecasting techniques.
