This building company has established their brand across the Sydney Metro for over two decades. They are building an even split of project homes and knock-down-rebuild / custom homes.

The role will work within the estimating team and be hands-on sales estimating on all project and custom homes.

As the Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare accurate sales estimates, tenders, and pricing for new home builds.
  • Cost variations, upgrades, and client selections across standard designs.
  • Liaise with sales consultants, drafting, and construction to ensure buildability and compliance.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases, supplier rates, and inclusions lists.
  • Interpret plans, site reports, and council/developer guidelines to inform estimates.
  • ETS management
  • Solving elevated issues and collaborating with the Estimating Manager

To be considered for the position of Estimator you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in construction or a trade background
  • Experience pricing and delivering homes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience negotiating rates
  • Good understanding of margins
