Are you an experienced HSE leader ready to take on a critical, multi-site role driving safety, health, and environmental excellence across unique mining operations?

We're seeking a highly capable HSE Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across our two operating mines on Christmas Island (WA) and Ardmore (QLD), as well as our broader subsidiary businesses. This is a key leadership role with significant scope and visibility, directly influencing operational outcomes, environmental performance, and cultural improvement across our sites. This role will be Perth-based but require regular travel to Christmas Island, WA & Ardmore, QLD and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of PRL Group.

About the Role

As HSE Manager, you'll partner closely with Site General Managers and leadership teams to:

  • Develop and implement a group-wide HSE strategy, aligned with WA and QLD regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor a capable team of HSE professionals, building cross-site capability and collaboration.
  • Oversee risk management frameworks, incident reviews, and critical control assurance.
  • Drive proactive workforce engagement and embed a positive, safety-first culture.
  • Lead environmental compliance and monitoring programs, including biodiversity, water management, and rehabilitation initiatives.
  • Align site-level environmental programs with corporate sustainability goals and community expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies for both safety and environmental matters.

This is a dynamic and highly influential role where your expertise will directly contribute to safer, more sustainable, and more efficient mining operations.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Mining Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years' HSE leadership experience in mining or heavy industry, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of WA and QLD mining safety and environmental legislation.
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels – from the boardroom to the pit, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and retaining HSE teams.
  • ICAM (or equivalent) investigation training.
