About the business

Drilltec Pty Ltd is a Morwell based company with 25 years of extensive and diverse experience relating to various disciplines of drilling and geological investigation; some including:

  • Groundwater bores for irrigation, water supply, and geothermal
  • Bore refurbishment and decommissioning
  • Deep groundwater monitoring bores
  • Geo-technical investigations
  • Geophysical logging
  • Bore hole cameras

At Drilltec, we are searching for motivated and enthusiastic people who have initiative and are motivated when being part of a team. Preferably the applicant will be several years experience in the drilling industry but alternatively this would be a fantastic opportunity for a motivated applicant seeking a career in the drilling industry.

Suitable Candidates will:

  • Have previous labour or offsiding experience
  • Be able to take direction from the driller
  • Be highly motivated
  • Assist the driller with OH&S and Quality paperwork
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and enjoy learning new skills
  • Be physically fit and enjoy hands-on, physically demanding work
  • Be reliable and punctual and able to take direction
  • Have a high tolerance to demanding weather conditions
  • Enjoy working in a team-focused working environment
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

Skills and abilities:

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Hold a Construction Induction (White card)
  • Hold a current Drivers licence
  • MUST hold a current non-synchro HR (at least) truck licence
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Good communication skills
  • Consider your, & fellow employees health and safety, and obey all rules and regulations in place to ensure the site is a safe work place
