As a provider of quality teamwear and sporting apparel into schools, universities, sporting teams, and the corporate sector, our number one priority is to provide quality product at competitive prices, delivered in a timely manner.
We are seeking to strengthen our reputation of providing outstanding service to schools, universities, sporting teams and the corporate sector, and as a result an exciting opportunity has arisen for a vibrant Business Development Manager to become part of this dynamic and successful team.
THE POSITION
You will spend the majority of your time developing and securing new business within the region and ongoing account management, forming strong relationships with key stakeholders within educational institutions, corporate organisations and local clubs, and utilising your existing network to promote our brands.
This role is best suited to someone who is willing to be flexible with their working hours.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
- have a minimum of 5 years direct selling experience from sporting apparel and teamwear background (essential)
 - be able to demonstrate past successes and be driven to exceed budgets
 - have an overwhelming desire to succeed
 - be an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with a positive, can do attitude
 - have a passion for providing outstanding customer service
 - possess excellent people, communication & presentation skills
 - have great attention to detail
 - have the ability to negotiate at all levels and secure the deal
 - be self-motivated with a sense of ownership of territory
 - have a desire to be a part of the sporting landscape and a healthy and dynamic team
 - possess excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
 - be willing to be flexible with working hours
 - have experience in selling to the sporting and education industries
 - be a sports minded, flexible individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure customer requirements are followed through to completion
