Qualifications & experience

  • Hotel Venue Manager experience of at least 5 years.

If you are a proven high achiever in pubs and hotels then this is perfect for you A popular pub with many areas that can grow with your expertise.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Hands on Venue Manager - you are the face of the pub and you need to know the regular patrons, talk to them, pour their beers
  • This salary is $120k base plus $30 k bonuses that are easily achievable but only if you know your numbers and can maintain wage percentages, grow revenue and are an expert in COGS.
  • This pub is underachieving and you can commence at a perfect time in the lead up to a busy Xmas period. You have x4 Managers under you who need an experienced Leader to bring out their best. You must be able to report consistently and accurately on all facets of the business. If you don't know your numbers, please do not apply. We have an excellent kitchen team - but ready for a change in menu and direction.
  • Supervision of all Managers.
  • Oversee all rosters, hiring, training, and HR practices.
  • Oversee all stock control, ordering, invoicing for bars and kitchen.
  • Reporting of wages analysis, gross profit and sales trends required at the highest level.
  • Driving revenue and sales and marketing
  • Marketing genius? If you are not then you must know who is and how to put our venue in the spotlight.
  • Experienced with entertainment? You must have had experience with late night entertainment across all forms including DJ's, bands and new ideas
  • Functions we are underperforming and this can grow exponentially. You must know the functions inside and out and bring with you expert procedures and processes. We have room for a brilliant Functions specialist on your team
