Head Chef

This is a full-time role for a Head Chef located in Coffs Harbour, NSW. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, managing kitchen staff, creating menus, ensuring food quality standards, and controlling kitchen costs. They will also be in charge of inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in kitchen management and food preparation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Creative menu planning and development skills
  • Strong inventory management and cost control abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Culinary degree or relevant qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
