Talent Acquisition Specialist - Melbourne

VPS3 | 3-Month Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a major Victorian rail provider on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for a recruiter with proven expertise in high-volume and technical recruitment, who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse range of roles, with a focus on operational and technical positions.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to provide trusted recruitment advice and ensure buy-in throughout the process.
  • Utilise recruitment systems and reporting tools, with a strong focus on Excel and data management.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in volume recruitment and technical recruitment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating recruitment systems.
  • Background in rail, aviation, or government recruitment is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to deliver in a deadline-driven environment.

Contract Details:

  • VPS3 banding
  • 3-month term (with potential for extension)
  • Based in Melbourne, hybrid working arrangements available
