About the role

A.M.R Garden Services is seeking an enthusiastic Gardener to join our team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beautiful landscapes we create for our clients across the Mildura region. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced gardener who takes pride in their work and wants to contribute to the growth and success of our thriving gardening business.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning
  • Planting and caring for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Maintaining irrigation systems and ensuring optimal watering of the gardens
  • Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests
  • Advising clients on garden maintenance and providing recommendations
  • Ensuring a high level of presentation and quality in all gardens under your care
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

What we're looking for

  • Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools preferred but not essential. On the job training provided
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Drivers licence and be confident to drive large vehicle and able to tow a trailer
  • Current police check required
