A high-profile Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced APS6 Program Officer to support the delivery and management of strategic grants and contracts. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to impactful work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your new role
As a Program Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing grant processes, managing contracts, and supporting program implementation. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with government objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, negotiating, and managing grants, contracts, and agreements.
  • Preparing briefs, reports, and documentation to support program delivery.
  • Coordinating selection processes and supporting candidate engagement activities.
  • Managing procurement, budget tracking, and payment processing.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across government and international organisations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in grants management and program coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

This position is only open to Australian Citizens, you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a federal government Security clearance - (NV1, NV2 or TSPV).
