Senior People & Culture Advisor
Drive impact and shape positive workplace experiences. About the Role
Join our team as a Senior People & Culture Advisor and provide practical, high-quality HR support across our organisation. With a strong focus on employee relations, you'll guide leaders through matters like performance, conduct, grievances, and workplace investigations.

You'll work closely with managers to build capability, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive, people-first culture. While the role is operational, there's scope to contribute to strategic projects as part of our evolving P&C agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and pragmatic HR advice on a range of employee matters
  • Manage end-to-end employee relations issues, including performance, grievances, disputes, and investigations
  • Coach and support leaders on best practice people management and compliance with employment legislation
  • Assist in policy implementation and organisational change initiatives
  • Collaborate with the broader P&C team on projects such as workforce planning, engagement, and cultural development
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement across HR processes
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 5 years of HR advisory experience with a strong employee relations focus
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations frameworks
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working independently and managing sensitive and complex people matters
  • Excellent communication, time management and coaching skills
  • A collaborative mindset with an interest in contributing to strategic P&C initiatives
  • Experience in the child care or education sector is a plus, but not essential
