Our State Government is currently seeking an AO6 Project Manager on a contract from 8 December 2025 to 30 June 2026. The role requires a high level of skill, leadership, and professional knowledge in delivering project management services for building projects. **Key Responsibilities:****

  • Manage all stages of building projects, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction, ensuring quality, cost, time, and scope objectives are met.
  • Coordinate project staff, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Provide high-level contract management across traditional and non-traditional systems.
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders regarding operational and project matters.
  • Conduct project audits, monitor team performance, and generate exception reports for time and cost variances.
  • Support senior management in determining fees, billing approvals, and project financials.
  • Lead negotiations with consultants, authorities, internal stakeholders, clients, and contractors to deliver value-for-money solutions.
  • Apply professional expertise to add value and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.

*Skills & Experience:*

  • Leadership, coordination, and project management experience.
  • Strong contract and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite highly desirable.
