Elixir Coffee Roasters HQ is looking for an experienced Café Manager to join our team.

As a part of our management team, you will be responsible for our in-store retail products including our range of coffee beans, coffee making equipment and barista accessories. You will also be responsible for the the daily operations of the cafe including opening and closing, staff direction and organisation, co-ordinating of training new staff and ongoing training.

Training will be provided to enable you to best service our customers.

Experience as a Barista and use of alternative brewing methods and latte art will be highly regarded.

In exchange, we are looking for someone who loves being busy, is hands-on and has the following experience and skills:

At least two years' experience as a Café Manager or Supervisor of a large team (up to 20 staff)

Ability to onboard new staff

Can confidently manage the day-to-day operations of its Café & Retail Store

Has Barista experience and/or a strong understanding of and passion for coffee

Can confidently hire, lead, train and mentor staff

Can create and maintain staff rosters to suit the needs of the Cafe

Isn't afraid of delivering to budgets and targets and managing operational costs

Has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong time management skills

Is flexible and isn't afraid of a challenge

Has a love and appreciation for the hospitality industry

Maintain and deliver policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service and food safety practices
