About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Developer
to manage, configure, and support the organisation's ServiceNow platform and other strategic corporate applications.

You'll play a key role in ensuring business process continuity, maintaining system security, and delivering both planned project work and reactive support. The role also involves guiding cloud migration efforts, automating processes, and optimising performance across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain the organisation's ServiceNow platform and related systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Develop and support migration strategies to move applications from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Automate and standardise operational processes for improved efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, operational reports, and configuration records.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to internal ICT team members.
  • Implement best-practice governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in major incident management and on-call support as required.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented ServiceNow professional who thrives in complex enterprise environments. You enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams, and you have the confidence to influence and implement best practice solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • ServiceNow Certified
    and
    ITIL v4 Foundation
    (mandatory).
  • Extensive experience managing and supporting the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Java, JavaScript, HTML, .NET, SQL
    , and database technologies (MySQL, SQL, Postgres).
  • Demonstrated experience across
    ITSM
    ,
    SDLC
    ,
    change/configuration/release management
    , and
    Agile/DevOps
    environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong business process analysis, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
  • Experience with system performance optimisation, automation, and risk management.
