The Role

This is a high-level, operations role for a Senior Cloud Engineer.

Your main tasks include resolving high-level technical issues, acting as an application owner, automation, monitoring, operational maintenance and patching, optimising technology and processes, mentoring other members of the managed services business and growing your own technical capability.

Most of your time will be spent working with a wide range of Endpoint Management related technologies including Intune, Azure VD, M365, Threatlocker, Huntress, Patch My PC, Nerdio, SCCM plus essential 8 and other security frameworks.

On top of this a quarter of your role will see you supporting a broad range of traditional infrastructure technologies across Windows, Active Directory, virtualisation, networking and Citrix.

You'll be backed by a capable team of engineers who know their way around Microsoft tech and are happy to share what they know. The broader company has unmatched Azure capability which you'll absorb as you perform your role.

Who you are:

In a sentence we're after an Endpoint Cloud Engineer who built their capability troubleshooting traditional infrastructure technologies, more specifically:


• Strong experience with modern EUC tech: Intune, M365, AVD, Win 11, PowerShell, Azure


• Strong experience with traditional infrastructure technology: Active Directory, Windows Server, and core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)


• You're happy being operational – you enjoy resolving issues, automation, optimising technology and process as well as being a product owner


• You see yourself as a mentor


• You're passionate about Microsoft technologies


• You communicate well, present professionally and get along well with people


• You're easy going, friendly and have a positive attitude
