About the role

Biloela Early Learning Centre seeks a passionate and experienced Lead Educator who is Diploma Qualified to join our dedicated team in Biloela, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will lead a team of educators and provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children
• Mentor and support a team of educators, guiding them in the delivery of exceptional care and educational experiences
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment that meets all regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with parents and families to understand and meet the unique needs of each child
• Observe, document and assess children's progress, using this information to inform future programming
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of educators
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, families and the broader community
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children
• Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
