About the role

First Grade Contract Maintenance is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Biloela, Queensland. As a Fitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing equipment within the mining industry, contributing to the smooth operation of our client's operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Undertake routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, and implement effective solutions
3. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety standards and procedures
4. Maintain accurate records of work performed
5. Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to optimize equipment performance
