Project Scheduler opportunity – Canberra-based

  • Location: Onsite, Canberra, ACT
  • Duration: Contract until June 2026 with possible extension
  • Clearance: NV1 required

Vectiq is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a government-focused project. You will manage project schedules, monitor progress, provide earned value performance insights, mentor project personnel, and ensure consistent, high-quality schedule management aligned with industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess Project and Contract Work Breakdown Structures (PWBS/CWBS) and supporting documentation.
  • Create and maintain project master schedules.
  • Analyse project data to monitor and report on schedule and cost progress.
  • Mentor and advise project personnel on schedule management tools, methodologies, and reporting.
  • Apply industry best practice in schedule management consistent with Australian and international standards.

About You

  • Experience with OPP for project planning and scheduling.
  • Defence experience will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
  • Recognised schedule management professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in risk management and schedule governance.
  • Strong understanding of schedule management methodologies, practices, and software.
  • Familiarity with Australian and international standards for project schedule management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor project teams.
