Asbestos Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform asbestos abatement and removal tasks in residential, commercial and industrial settings
  • Set up containment areas and use proper decontamination procedures
  • Operate tools and equipment used in asbestos removal
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use PPE properly
  • Complete required documentation and reports
  • Work with project managers and team members to complete jobs on schedule

Requirements:

  • Valid Asbestos Technician certification/license (as required by WA.
  • Prior experience in asbestos abatement or environmental remediation
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Regulations related to asbestos
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg's and work at heights
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with asbestos and/or mould remediation
  • Ability to travel for projects (if required)
