We are seeking a passionate, and motivated leader to join our team as the Director of OSHC. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating engaging, safe, and supportive environments for children while leading a dedicated team of educators. Our service is a 60 student service and consistently growing with the support of our P&C.
About the Role
As the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of our OSHC service. You will ensure the program operates smoothly, meets compliance requirements, and provides high-quality care and experiences for children. You will work closely with staff, families, and the school community to create a welcoming, inclusive service that reflects the needs of our families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the OSHC team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and implement engaging programs that support children's wellbeing, learning, and development.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider school community.
- Manage administration tasks, including rosters, budgets, enrolments, and reporting.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all.
About You
- Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification).
- Demonstrated experience in leadership within OSHC or Early Childhood.
- Strong knowledge of My Time, Our Place framework and NQF.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, proactive, and confident in decision-making.
- Current Blue Card/Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
