Dental Technician - Orthodontic Department - Wire Bender
Located in the Bayside area of Melbourne, Pearl - Smile Corporation provides industry-leading dental technology, delivering premium products using innovative technology, 3D printing and world - leading production techniques.

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Dental Technician who's highly skilled in all Orthodontic wire bending. The ideal candidate will bring solid hands-on experience, a positive and proactive attitude with an attention to detail and provide high quality orthodontic work.
Responsibilities for the Dental Technician role:
- Ensuring that all dental appliances meet the highest quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced role while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and delivered to dentists on time
- Wire bending for all types of removable and fixed orthodontic and orthopaedic appliances, duties include extremely complex wire bending for orthodontic appliances, soldering and laser welding of wire work as required
To be successful, you will require:
- A Diploma of Dental Technology
- Minimum of 2 years in a specialist orthodontic laboratory
- Excellent wire bending skills
Experience in laser welding, soldering joins and metal finishing/polishing
Experience with acrylic work preferred but not essential
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high quality appliances
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
Good organizational and time management skills a must.
Salary negotiable based on current skill and experience.
