Overview

Latrobe Community Health Service is offering 4 casual positions for Dental Prosthetists located across Gippsland sites. We are a not-for-profit health care provider focused on getting back to what matters and serving the community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality prosthetic services including fabrication, fitting, adjustment, and repair of removable prostheses and sports mouthguards
  • Collaborate with dentists, dental technicians and other oral health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Support patients across a range of programs including the Community Dental Program, Child Dental Benefit Scheme, Smile Squad, Peninsula Health and Bass Coast Health agreements
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest standards of infection control, safety and compliance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in service quality and patient care
Qualifications
  • An Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Dental Prosthetics (or equivalent)
  • Current AHPRA registration and a Victorian driver's licence
  • Strong knowledge of the Community Dental Program
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred and empathetic approach
  • The ability to thrive in a busy, team-based environment while managing competing priorities

About the role

As a Dental Prosthetist with LCHS, you will provide high-quality prosthetic services, collaborate with other professionals, support programs, and uphold high standards of infection control and patient care.

About You

You are a qualified and registered Dental Prosthetist with:

  • An Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Dental Prosthetics (or equivalent)
  • Current AHPRA registration and a Victorian driver's licence
  • Strong knowledge of the Community Dental Program
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred and empathetic approach
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, team-based environment while managing competing priorities
