Pharmacy Assistant/Medical Administration

Are you someone who enjoys keeping things organised, supporting a team, and knowing your work truly makes a difference? We're looking for a Pharmacy Assistant in a Medical Administrative role to join our friendly community pharmacy team, with a special focus on supporting aged care homes with their medication needs.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be an important link between our pharmacy and local aged care facilities. Your work will help ensure residents receive their medicines safely and on time. From preparing medication orders to keeping records up to date, your attention to detail will help give peace of mind to residents, families, and nursing staff.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Helping to organise and prepare aged care home medication orders
  • Working closely with the aged care manager, pharmacists, and nurses to ensure the safe, timely and accurate supply of medication to our residents.
  • Taking care of important administration tasks like data entry and medication chart updates
  • Pitching in as part of our pharmacy team wherever needed

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working as part of a team and building good relationships
  • Has great attention to detail and likes things done properly
  • Feels confident in using computer software and learning new systems
  • Stays calm under pressure and can juggle different tasks
  • Ideally has some pharmacy experience– but we're happy to provide training if you bring the right attitude and enthusiasm
