About the Company:LMP Project Services is a local family owned and operated company servicing Mackay, the Coalfields, Whitsundays and beyond. Established in 2008, LMP Project Services provides a wide range of construction and civil construction services to the commercial, mining & industrial sectors in the Mackay region. About our Opportunity: LMP Project Services are currently seeking experienced Grader operators to join our highly experienced team based at Burton Mine with a reputation for delivery and working together to develop and provide solutions for our client. These drive in, drive out roles include accommodation and meals.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelinesMonitor equipment performance Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning the machinesMaintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activitiesCommunicate effectively with other team members to ensure operational efficiencyFollow all company & site procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentExperience/Skills required:• Demonstrated experience in a earthworks/civils/mining/resource environment.• Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site.• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.• Ability to carry out daily pre-start.Key Requirements:• Current Machine tickets (< 5 years old)• Coal Board Medical (desirable but not essential)• Standard 11 (desirable but not essential)Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short-listed candidates.As a diversified services organisation, LMP appreciates the diversity and richness of its people, and seeks to create inclusive environments that promote your talent and skills.
