About the role

WorkPac are seeking a Document Controller to join the team in Bungama. The role is responsible for the effective development, maintenance, and communication of project and process-related records to support stakeholders and end-users. Reporting to the Systems and Improvement Business Partner, this position will manage project documentation, control document registers, and support the development of a Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage system and project documents, drawings, and records in line with processes, requirements, and controls
  • Establish and maintain project document registers, ensuring correct numbering and version control
  • Coordinate project documentation for project teams, site personnel, and clients
  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and workflows (e.g. Knowledge Central)
  • Provide advice, training, and work instructions to ensure quality records, data, and drawings are maintained
  • Maintain filing systems and update hard/electronic copies of procedures, manuals, and instructions
  • Assess and recommend improvements to document and drawing management processes

Skills and experience required

  • Certificate in business discipline and/or extensive project management environment experience
  • Knowledge of document control platforms (Aconex, TeamBinder, SPF etc)
  • 3–4 years' relevant experience in project management-related commercial positions
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
  • Current SA Driver's Licence
