This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced machinery in a professional and safety-focused environment.

Position Overview

The Crane Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repair of mobile and tower cranes. This includes both workshop-based and field service work, supporting customers and ensuring all equipment meets performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on Zoomlion cranes
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Complete accurate service records and job documentation
  • Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and relevant Australian regulations
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
  • Participate in manufacturer training and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience
  • High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – essential
  • Experience with cranes or heavy machinery (hydraulics, electrics, diagnostics)
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Strong safety focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
