We're looking for a
Manager, International Finance (VPS 6)
to join the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions. In this high-profile role, you'll provide strategic financial advice and oversight for Victoria's international offices, influence senior stakeholders, and shape innovative solutions that support global operations.

As a Manager, International Finance, you will work closely with the client group to provide a dedicated lead point of service for Finance advice and the delivery of Finance services across a range of Finance functions including financial systems, investment strategy, financial performance, international office financial operations, compliance with legislative and department policies and the resolution of complex, sensitive or contentious international financial management issues. You will work closely with the Operations Manager VGTI Offices, Commissioners for Victoria, and VGTI Office/Administration Managers to support the financial management operations and finance requirements of the international offices and provide authoritative advice to the client group on financial matters.

This role will require someone with strong finance, financial systems, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders in relation to complex and sensitive finance issues. The Manager, International Finance role will manage the Senior Finance Business Partner – International Finance role. The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division.
