About ABCI

Australian Business & Culinary Institute (ABCI) is a privately owned and operated Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45461 | CRICOS 03742D) with campuses in Melbourne and Perth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plastering Trainer & Assessor to deliver Certificate III training at our Perth campus.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Certificate III in Plastering training
  • Planning and delivering engaging and compliant training sessions
  • Conducting assessments in line with CPC training package requirements
  • Supporting students to achieve competency
  • Participating in validation and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintaining accurate training and assessment documentation

Skills and Experience (Selection Criteria)

Applicants MUST demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering VET training in Plastering
  • Relevant trade qualification with current industry experience
  • Strong understanding of training packages and units of competency
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE40116 (or equivalent)
  • Experience validating assessments and learner resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with diverse learners

Compliance Requirements

  • Current Working With Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Evidence of current industry currency
