About us

Trending Smiles is a leading Orthodontic Dental laboratory located in Strathfield, NSW,. We're proud of the collaborative, supportive team that drives our success. We are currently seeking an experienced Orthodontic technician to join us on a full time basis. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our skilled technicians to fabricate high-quality orthodontic appliances and occlusal splints, contributing to the precision, reliability, and patient-focused care we're known for. You will play a key part in maintaining our high production standards by ensuring each appliance is crafted with accuracy, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

  • Fabricate a variety of orthodontic appliances, including fixed V Shaped wires, fixed expanders, removable expanders, functional appliances and occlusal splints.
  • Manage digital workflow and digital printing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our dental laboratory processes and workflows
  • Keep the workplace neat and clean.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training and qualifications in dental technology, with a specialisation in orthodontics and splint fabrication
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Orthodontic Technician, preferably in a dental practice or laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with dental professionals and patients
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and quality control
  • Exocad and digital printing experience
