**About us.**
Lakkis Optometry is a busy optometry clinic established in 1991 to service the eyecare
needs of our community in Keilor East and surrounding suburbs. It is part of the ProVision
network of 450+ independent optometrists located across Australia.

**About the Role.**
Reception duties include the making of appointments and processing Medicare and Health
Insurance claims, as well as ordering spectacles and contact lenses. As an Optical Assistant,
you will help with frame and lens selection, optical fittings measurements, and the
dispensing of eyewear. You will be part of an experienced team, supported by optometrists
and optical professionals working together to improve our clients’ vision.

**About You.**
- Well presented, caring and compassionate
- Punctual and reliable
- Pride in maintaining the highest standards
- Willing to learn and implement new concepts
- Previous optical experience is preferred but not essential

**The benefits of employment**
Lakkis Optometry provides family friendly work hours. Other than Saturday mornings, no
weekend work is required.
Mentorship and training is provided in house and through the ProVision network utilising
in-office, on-line and face-to-face courses, as well as our own personal business coach.
