About the Role:

TP Human Capital is looking for a
Safety and Compliance Officer
. This role focuses on ensuring the safety of all staff and contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture. The initial contract is for
6 months, with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor adherence to safety processes
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
  • Oversee contractor compliance and provide guidance.
  • Investigate and report incidents and near-misses.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
  • Conduct or prepare content for toolbox meetings
  • Provide recommendations for improving safety management systems.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of WHS principles and regulations.
  • Proven experience in safety roles, preferably in construction environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently
