AIC Mines owns the Eloise Copper Mine located near Cloncurry, QLD.  Eloise is an underground mine with conventional crush-grind-float processing to produce a high-quality copper-gold concentrate.  AIC Mines has recently commenced an expansion of the Eloise operation following the acquisition of the nearby Jericho resource. The Company also owns a portfolio copper and gold exploration projects located across Australia.

AIC Mines is listed on the ASX under the code A1M.

About the position:

We are actively seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time mine site camp cleaner. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available.  This is a varied role and will include but not limited to:

  • Housekeeping and Site Office cleaning
  • Cleaning of Toilets / Showers laundries
  • Sort and distribute linen deliveries.
  • Restock of crib rooms, laundries and unload delivery trucks  (this requires heavy lifting)
  • General bar duties and restocking

The position is offered on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off FIFO roster from Townsville.   Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.

Accommodation and meals are provided onsite at the Eloise Copper Mine.

About You:

  • Commercial cleaning and recent hospitality experience preferred.
  • Good communicator organised and flexible.
  • FIFO or mining experience highly desirable.
  • Hold a high regard for safety by following safe working practices.
  • Current RSA preferred.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and work to a schedule.

Must Have:

  • Current QLD driver's license (manual)
  • Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment and police check.
