Commercial Analyst

Bulk Group is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support our national transport and supply chain operations with accurate analysis, modelling and commercial insight.

You'll focus on transport lane performance, route costing, pricing support and network optimisation, helping us understand cost drivers, margins and opportunities across our freight network.

You'll also gain valuable customer-facing exposure — supporting customer reviews, presenting insights clearly, and strengthening commercial relationships through data-driven discussions.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, building models, developing reports and supporting commercial decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Analyse transport lanes, routes, volumes and network patterns to understand cost drivers, utilisation and profitability.
• Build and maintain lane costing models for pricing, tenders and rate reviews.
• Prepare clear cost-to-serve and commercial insights for customer and internal stakeholders.
• Support customer reviews by presenting data and contributing to commercial discussions.
• Identify optimisation and cost improvementopportunities across the network.
• Work closely with finance, sales and service delivery teams to ensure commercial accuracy and alignment.

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business or similar.
• 2–4 years' experience in a commercial, costing or analytical role (transport/logistics highly regarded).
• Strong Excel skills with experience in costing, pricing and transport-lane analysis.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Clear communicator able to translate data into simple, customer-friendly insight
